    Bacchus, “under divine presence”

Fewer crowds, more festival: after 2007’s record Saturday, Helmuth Köcher raises every ticket price, Saturday’s most of all, so the public spreads over the three days: 6,000 visitors, some 17% fewer, by choice. A festival is measured by the quality of its encounters, not by the size of its crowd — and a hall too full is no longer a safe one.
