An agora of excellence
This stage is configured as an agora of excellence, where knowledge is not transmitted by accumulation but through dialectical stratification, through that particular alchemy that arises from the interweaving of diverse and complementary visions. Here, not only the immediate challenges of technological innovation or environmental sustainability are discussed, but the foundational questions that redefine the relationship between tradition and avant-garde, between territorial identity and global horizons, between the millennia-old art of winemaking and the vertigo of a market in perpetual metamorphosis.

The venue
Teatro Puccini
Between Corso Libertà and Ponte Teatro, a short walk from the Kurhaus: designed by the Munich architect Martin Dülfer and inaugurated on 1 December 1900, the theatre bears the name of Giacomo Puccini.
A stuccoed ceiling with golden ornaments, the red and gold curtain, 296 salmon-coloured armchairs: for years it has been the home of the Merano WineFestival’s symposia.
