The Fuori Salone is a true open-air stage, where regions, consortia and producers from all over Italy present themselves and connect with the public.
Along the red carpet running through Corso Libertà, the beating heart of Merano, talks, tastings, showcooking and live performances follow one another, turning the city into a place of sharing, discovery and food-and-wine culture.
Each event becomes a unique opportunity to experience the authentic soul of Italian excellence: stories of passion, tradition and innovation coming to life before the eyes of visitors, inviting them to enjoy and savour the very best of our gastronomic heritage.
At Fuori Salone you will find:
Main sponsor of the Merano WineFestival since 2024, Banca per il Trentino – Alto Adige will be present at the Fuori Salone with a space dedicated to the dialogue between the world of food and wine and that of the economy. An opportunity to explore new investment opportunities, discover targeted projects, and understand how finance can support the development of the sector. A concrete contribution to growth and innovation, with a keen eye on the needs of those operating in the food and wine landscape.
In an exhibition space of over 100 m², the public can enjoy an immersive experience with showcooking, masterclasses, and tastings of typical wines and specialities. A sensory journey that leads to the discovery of authentic flavours, capable of telling the story of the territory through the palate. In recent years, Calabria has gained an increasingly important role in the Italian food and wine scene, and at the festival, it presents itself in all its energy and authenticity.
Falstaff, a renowned food and wine magazine of reference in the DACH world (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), has also been available in Italian for some years with its dedicated edition. At the Merano WineFestival 2025, Falstaff Italia will be present with a lively space, a place for meetings, talks, and convivial moments. Aperitifs, events, and conversations will enrich the programme, offering the public a point of reference to discover and delve deeper into the excellences of the sector.
The Campania Region, together with the Consortium for the Protection of Sannio Wines, represents one of the beating hearts of gastronomic excellence in Southern Italy. During the four days of the Festival, the stand will host tastings of wines and typical products, showcooking, meetings, and masterclasses. These sensory journeys will be enriched by the presence of prominent figures such as Gino Sorbillo and other key personalities, for an experience that combines taste, culture, and passion.
Some of its rooms host meetings and events reserved for the press and buyers, while the restaurant welcomes hundreds of festival guests for lunch and dinner every year. A point of reference where the South Tyrolean tradition meets hospitality, helping to make the Merano WineFestival experience even more authentic and convivial.
In addition to tastings, the region will bring a showcooking area open to the public to the Fuori Salone, where extraordinary products will be the stars of recipes and stories capable of inspiring emotion. The initiative is supported and represented by several local GALs (Local Action Groups), which will help make the experience authentic and engaging.
