Wine and autumn – a wonderful combination in the sunny region of South Tyrol. We warmly invite you to the preview of the Merano WineFestival in Lagundo, where wine lovers and connoisseurs will have the chance to taste around 200 outstanding wines, personally selected by Helmuth Köcher, The WineHunter. From sparkling wines to elegant whites and reds with character, served with dedication by the students of the SAVOY Provincial Vocational School, every sip becomes a special moment. Alongside them we will delight you with regional and Italian specialities, perfectly paired with the wines on tasting. Setting the culinary scene, numerous Lagundo businesses will present their homemade specialities, ready to be tasted.

With over 500 visitors expected — hoteliers, restaurateurs and trade journalists — the event is an important showcase for wine and food producers, who can have their products tasted without needing to be present in person, relying on the professionalism of the Merano WineFestival staff.

The evening begins at 19:00, when the doors of the Casa della Cultura Peter Thalguter in Lagundo open, marking the start of this evening dedicated to wine. The event has plenty to offer in culinary terms too, and will be accompanied by music.
