A return to origins to look to the future. The section dedicated to Amphora Wines celebrates an ancient technique, rediscovered and embraced by producers in search of authenticity, purity, and a deep connection with raw material.
Vinifying and aging in terracotta amphorae allows the wine to breathe slowly, without absorbing external aromas, enhancing the structure, freshness, and transparency of the fruit. This year, the Area is enriched with thematic paths narrating different production visions and oenological styles: from organic and biodynamic wines, symbols of a nature-friendly approach, to labels vinified and aged in amphorae, reviving ancient techniques to enhance authenticity and structure. Also featured are No/Low Alcohol proposals, expression of a growing market combining pleasure and moderation, and innovative experiments such as wines aged under water.
