The GourmetArena is the location for tasting of food, spirits and beer situated on the Passeggiata Lungo Passirio
The GourmetArena is the tensile structure which is located on the Meranese Passeggiata Lungo Passirio and houses Food Spirits Beer – The WineHunter Selection as well as Territorium, Consortium, Extrawine and Media.
The section dedicated to food, spirits and beer
The large and extensive terrace, which runs the length of the entire Kurhaus, faces south, opening onto the famous Sissi Promenade along the Passirio di Sissi: this is the space dedicated to the GourmetArena. For 20 years already the Promenade is hosting the GourmetArena of the Merano WineFestival. 1,200 m² offering the opportunity to taste The Official Culinaria Selection, which includes the excellence of the Culinaria, Beerpassion and Aquavitae. In addition, the Consortium, Territorium, Extrawine and Media sections are also located in the GourmetArena. Consortium and Territorium are dedicated to wine and food consortia and the presentation of entire territories. In the Extrawine section you can find companies that offer equipment and support for professionals in the food and wine sector. Media are newspapers and media partners who show their newspapers and journals dedicated to the wine and food sector. In some years the GourmetArena has also hosted a section dedicated to Mixology.
Corresponding to the culinary products found in the GourmetArena, the tensile structure is decorated in green and with natural plants and offers ample space for the tastings of fresh culinary products.
