Award ceremony of the Premio Godio 2019.
The Godio Award is dedicated to the great chef Giancarlo Godio, who tragically died in 1994 and was the first chef in Italy and perhaps worldwide to receive a Michelin Star in a restaurant located at 2,000 meters above sea level in Val d’Ultimo, South Tyrol.
Every year at the Merano WineFestival the Godio Prize is awarded to a South Tyrolean chef who is particularly worthy in the culinary field.
